Russell J. Shah, MD is a clinical Neurologist and Neurophysiologist practicing in Las Vegas, Nevada for the past 15 years. He is married to Dipti R. Shah, MD, a practicing Internist and Nephrologist in Las Vegas as well.
He attended Long Beach State University for college. Prior to attending medical school, he participated in management of the family business involving hospitality and real estate. He completed his medical training in Neurology and Neurophysiology at Rush University St. Lukes Medical center in 2000. From there, he returned back to Southern California to start private practice. He initially joined Neurology and Rehabilitation Medical Group, a UCLA affiliated private practice Neurology group. He later went on to open is own private practice servicing the West Los Angeles area. He eventually shifted his private practice to Long Beach, CA where he went on to become the Director of Neurology at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach. He practiced for several years in Long Beach but was simultaneously invited to open a Neurology practice in Las Vegas, as there was a vast shortage of Neurologists in Clark County. Ultimately, he relocated to Henderson, Nevada in 2007 and presently maintains a private practice in Las Vegas. He specializes in disorders of the spine and brain and treats medical conditions including, but not limited to carpal tunnel syndrome, brain injury, sciatica, neuropathy, pinched nerves, neck and low back pain, and radiculopathy.
